About 11th Street Station
Marcos Wisner, the owner and chef at Durango’s 11th Street Station, is a big believer in the importance of local talent, local ingredients, and local food. That’s why he started 11th Street Station, a culinary collective featuring a variety of craft food trucks and unique refurbished spaces like Ernie’s Bar (a quirky beer destination in a former filling station).
We spoke to Wisner about his goals for the business and his thoughts about its place in Durango’s future.
11th Street Station’s Future
“We want to be a community space and the local hub. We want to be an establishment. We want to be that go-to place where you’ll run into people you know, maybe hold your party or fundraiser. And then on top of that, we really want to start getting ambitious with our food and drinks and start pushing the envelope with some more creative, innovative things that people might not have seen in Durango yet.”
Marcos Wisner’s 11th Street Station Recommendation
“We already do a whole line of cocktails on tap. We’ve streamlined our process to allow us to maintain consistency and be high volume while still delivering a beautifully handcrafted eight-ingredient cocktail in less than 15 minutes.”
